Overall Physical Description: Seth has a white undercoat with the colouring of blue merle which means that most of his upper-body coat is covered in alternating light and dark grey patches. His cheek areas are covered sable/fawn along with two dots just above his eyes and the inners of his ears. The white also claims the tip of his tail and manages to make a collar around his neck. His fur itself is extremely long and often quite irritating as it gets dirty easily. He does try to keep it clean though.
He has a stocky masculine build and could be said to be large for his breed. Perhaps a mutation of sorts made him the way he is. He has a long face and perky-ears with a saber-shaped tail. His claws are white. Another strange difference of his breeding is his icy blue eyes that manage to darken when he gets angry.
He has a deep voice that sounds like sweet honey and is comforting to all that hear it.

Other important canines/people: Owner, Gerald Keen
Overall History:Seth was the product of an unscheduled breeding in a well known breeder’s kennels. Of course the breeder’s first instinct was to terminate the pregnancy but then he decided to keep the pups and sell them even if it would get him in trouble with the government. Of course once the puppies went up for retail the kennels were shut down and Seth’s family were sentenced to death. The kennel owner was able to save him and possibly another one or two of the puppies before they were terminated yet those details are unknown. The breeder then raised the puppies by feeding them special milk formulas and other foods until they were old enough to be weaned, once again even if more puppies had been save it was possible they died there. The breeder then went on to sell the puppies for quite a high price apiece, simply because of what he was risking.
Gerald Keen saw Seth and immediately fell in love, the puppy’s blue eyes and grey, long fur captivated him. Despite been a simple grocery store clerk he managed to rustle up the money to pay the price and took Seth home with him. For the first few days he was overly protective and scared for the pup. Scared that the government would come for him but as the months passed and nothing happened to his beloved dog he relaxed a little. He did still leave a hole in the fence so that Seth could run off if anything bad ever happened. This meant that Seth began to learn how to survive the streets by day and his master’s cosy home by night. Occasionally he would risk sleeping on the streets but it was never something he enjoyed in comparison to his dog bed.
Gerald Keen lives alone with Seth and has never expressed a need to acquire more than the pet he loves more than anything. Not that many women are interested in the young man, he is what many would call a bit of a coward and he does have an awful limp from a car accident in his youth. When his parents come to visit he shoos Seth out of the yard as they do not like dogs themselves and would make his life hard should they know about the collie.
Seth has many friends in the canine world as he is a friendly dog and he is rarely one to attack or be nasty. When he leaves the backyard he often does it with a purpose in mind such as visiting a friend or going for a walk.

Seth’s claws clattered on the polished wooden floors of the old house. The building wasn’t big and was a home his owner had inherited for his parents but it was the perfect size for the dog and his owner. It even had a pet-door, something that Seth was sure the humans couldn’t find in their shops anymore. He grinned to himself as he slipped through, noting that it was most likely time to lose a few pounds when his rear end got caught. With a wiggle he loosened himself and he clattered across the back porch and down the stairs.
Outside the daylight blinded him for a moment and he stood still, blinking a couple of times before he was used to it, he had allowed himself to sleep in today and he was sure it was well past noon. He had done the forbidden and had slept on Gerald’s bed but the mutt knew that the man would simply mutter and him in his strange garbled tongue, chuckle and then change the sheets. Seth would help with the changing of sheets of course, he made sure all the dirty laundry went to the washroom. It was something he had been taught from a young age.
Once his eyes were adjusted to the light he surveyed the yard. Everything was as he had left it meaning he hadn’t gotten any visitors in the night yet he sniffed around just to be sure. His nose nudged at a blue squeaky ball and without thinking twice he chased after his favourite toy. The ball of fluff tumbled after the ball and as soon as he had caught it he bit down hard with a victory squeeze, emitting a high-pitched squeak. He put the ball down and made his way to the fence. He sniffed at the bottom until he found the spot he wanted and then nosed apart the loose boards to escape.
